Homes in an area of Sunderland are more modern and energy efficient thanks to significant investment from Gentoo Group. Following Esh Living’s refurbishment of ten properties, residents living in Easington Lane now live in more desirable homes.
The housing association and Esh Living worked in partnership to transform the appearance of the homes after completing major external works.
The 13-week project included the renewal of external windows, doors, boundary walls, render and cladding and is part of Gentoo Group’s programme to continually invest in customers’ homes.
Thousands of customers across Sunderland are benefitting from Gentoo Group’s four-year investment plan which is well underway and includes the replacement of windows, doors and kitchens, roofing and external wall repairs across Gentoo’s housing stock.
Brian Anderson, Esh Living’s Contracts Manager, added: “It’s great to have been involved in another successful scheme with Gentoo Group where we have carried out improvement works to properties in the Sunderland area making them more modern and energy efficient.”
