As always, the Health, Safety and Wellbeing of our employees and supply chain partners is our number one priority.
These are unprecedented times and the Covid-19 pandemic situation is fluid. Our Executive Board and Senior Management team continue to be led by the advice of the UK Government and its team of healthcare advisors, while continuing to consult with our workforce, clients, local authorities and supply chain partners – allowing us to act swiftly as the situation develops.
Our sector is one of largest contributors to the UK economy and millions of people’s livelihood depend on it – we support the Government’s decision to allow the construction sector to operate where it can do so safely.
Observing Guidance
We have implemented ‘Covid-Safe’ social distancing measures which allow our sites and offices to function safely.
Remote Working
We have invested in additional IT hardware to allow more employees to work from home efficiently. Our cloud-based IT infrastructure can accommodate this change.
Supplier Payment
With support from many of our key clients we continue to maintain prompt payments to our supply chain.
Job Retention Scheme
We have made use of the UK Government’s Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (furloughing) where contracts are temporarily closed, paused or are unable to run at full capacity. This measure is under constant review.
