Built on solid foundations

Privately owned, financially sound and proud of our heritage - success built on people, culture, clients and communities.

Esh Group is one of the North of England’s largest privately-owned construction businesses.

We operate throughout the North East, the Tees Valley, Yorkshire and the Humber, providing commercial build, civil engineering, affordable and private housing services to the private and public sector.

Esh Group was formed in 1999 by Michael Hogan, Jack Lumsden and Tony Carroll Snr through the merger of Dunelm Castle Homes, Deerness Fencing, Sones Landscaping and Lumsden & Carroll Civil Engineering. We are proud of our heritage — retaining the honest, passionate, hardworking philosophy on which our business was built.

Our steady growth is testament to our knowledgeable and committed workforce who deliver quality projects for clients with whom we enjoy positive, open, and mutually beneficial relationships.

We are a financially sound,  award-winning and socially responsible organisation, committed to delivering maximum social and economic benefit for our clients and their communities.
