Northumbrian Water extends Esh-Stantec AMP7 Framework contract to 2025

Northumbrian Water has extended its Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Framework contract with the Esh-Stantec joint venture until 2025.

Northumbrian Water has extended its Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Framework contract with the Esh-Stantec joint venture until the end of September 2025. The Esh-Stantec team will design and construct capital schemes across Northumbrian Water’s water and wastewater networks, ranging from short term flood damage mitigation to significant long term, large-scale capital projects, designed to improve the overall asset infrastructure.

The joint venture between Esh Construction and Stantec was formed in 2015, to deliver capital schemes through Northumbrian Water’s AMP6 Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Framework. During the last five years the strength of partnership working has brought together the skills and expertise of each parent company, as well as embedding Northumbrian Water’s core values across the collaborative framework and its operations.

Scott Jackson, Regional Director of Stantec said: “I’m delighted that Northumbrian Water has extended Esh-Stantec’s contract for the AMP7 period. We look forward to working collaboratively to deliver unique and innovative projects which will bring efficiency and value for Northumbrian Water and its customers.”

Steve Wilkie, Executive Director of Esh Construction added: “This significant programme of works will help to boost the local economy in the region, as well as taking us to new levels of engagement, alignment, and collaboration. We’re looking forward to delivering new projects and enhancing the infrastructure, as well as the local communities in which Northumbrian Water serves.”
