Esh Construction hands over 24 new affordable homes in Sunderland

The Leeway Green development has been developed in partnership with Gentoo.

A ribbon has been cut on the development of 24 new affordable homes in the Carley Hill area of Sunderland and tenants are being welcomed into their new neighbourhood.

Delivered by Esh Construction’s affordable housing division for Gentoo Group, the £3.9 million Leeway Green scheme consists of 6 two-bedroom bungalows, 16 two-bedroom houses and 2 three-bedroom houses which have all been built with the latest, energy efficient technology.

Residents of Leeway Green homes will benefit from carbon reduction measures, with each home being 70% carbon neutral and including air source heat pumps, high performance windows, full-fill insulation and electric car charging points.
