Esh Build ‘suits up’ to support Sheffield based charity

The Suit Works support unemployed men and women who are trying to get back into employment.

Esh Build, the commercial build delivery arm of Esh Construction, has donated funds to support Sheffield Charity ‘The Suit Works.’

The charity, which was launched in 2016, is now a charitable incorporated organisation who provide interview clothing to unemployed and often vulnerable people.

Individuals are referred to The Suit Works by public bodies, charities and other organisations when they have the opportunity of a job/apprenticeship interview. The referral agencies support people with issues around homelessness, poverty, physical and mental health, social isolation and family breakdown. The individuals are given appropriate interview clothing and shoes which are all provided through donation, and involves local businesses running ‘suit drives’ to donate clothing.

The Suit Works has recently won the ‘Voluntary Action Sheffield – Make a difference’ award in the Employment and Skills category.

The donation from Esh Build will allow The Suit Works to install male and female changing cubicles as well as being able to expand the storage area in their new premises helping them to expand their operations.

This donation is in line with the YOR4Good Fund Requirements and is in association with our current internal refurbishment and fit out works being carried out at Grosvenor House, Sheffield in line with Sheffield’s ‘Heart of the City Masterplan.’

We are extremely happy to have been successful in securing this money from Esh Group. It means we can now ensure our brand-new premises are fit for purpose for both us and our clients. Creating a relaxed dressing space, along with having the appropriate fixtures and fittings to store all of our amazing donations, means we can now focus on providing the service to more people who need it."
