The Community Safety Hub and base for Cleveland Police is an innovative, efficient building which provides work space for Cleveland Police and partner agencies, providing a home for modern day specialist policing.

The Community Safety Hub is a gateway building of a wider master plan known as Hemlington Grange and is intended to be a mixed-use development of residential and commercial with provision for a new school and possible healthcare facility. The new building has a total gross internal floor area of 3345m2 and gross external area of 3750m2. The building is made of three elements, a three-storey office, a service zone and central atrium that joins the office and service parts of the building. It incorporates a café/reception space as part of the entrance area which serves as the main café space for staff and the public. It also includes a media briefing space.
