Communications Coordinator - (Closing date - 22/10/2024)

A highly motivated and creative individual is required to support the delivery of external and internal communications and PR for all divisions within Esh Group.

Overall Objective:

To contribute to the delivery and execution of internal and external communications for all divisions within Esh Group. You will work within the Communications Team to coordinate and create engaging content for social media platforms, press, publications, Esh’s internal communications platform, and website.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Write accurate and engaging content for press releases, social media, internal communications messaging and website. Liaise with necessary stakeholders, both internal and external, to seek approvals
  • Coordinate, film and edit videos for use on social media, website and for internal purposes
  • Liaise with colleagues across the divisions to source content for social media and PR planning
  • Coordinate the Group’s social media activity alongside the Communications Team
  • Maintain the Group’s Internal Communications Platform by managing content uploads via WordPress and writing informative news updates for staff
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to arrange photography and media bookings across construction sites and for PR opportunities. Manage the upload of all media onto company library
  • Visit construction sites across North East and Yorkshire to coordinate media activities and obtain content for social media and PR planning
  • Provide administrative support for all communications activity
  • Undertake website updates, including the upload of new content
  • Consistent application of Esh brand guidelines

Experience & Qualifications:


Applicants must have:

  • A full UK driving licence 
  • Experience of social media and PR content creation, including strong writing skills
  • Videography skills, including organising, filming and editing videos using Adobe Premiere Pro or comparable software
  • Evidence of strong organisational skills
  • The confidence to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience / understanding of social media platforms (LinkedIn) 
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office based packages
  • Previous experience within a communications, PR or marketing environment (desirable)
  • Qualification in relevant subject area i.e., business, PR, digital marketing (desirable)
  • General understanding of the construction sector (desirable)
