Apprentice Technical Coordinator - (Closing date - 05/09/2025)
Overall Objective:
- Work with supervision to progress administrative side of major Build, Living & Refurbishment from inception through to hand over
- Assist with technical issues throughout the build process and assist with all administrative compilation and submissions to the required standard
- Support the Technical Manager and assistant Technical Manager through all aspects of various projects
- Build the foundation towards achieving qualified Technical Manager/Design Manager status
Key Accountabilities:
- Learn to coordinate the procurement of utilities information, this includes sourcing existing services plans, obtaining quotations for utility diversions, abandonments, new service connections and street lighting connections, and associated utility design
- Learn to arrange new gas & electric supplies and register MPANs
- Learn to manage Viewpoint document control systems and process QA on designs received
- Learn to conclude building warranties quotes and manage the discharge of conditions
- Collate and submit evidence for the Design Stage and Post Construction Stage submission on a number of projects
- Learn to discharge and interrogate BREEAM evidence gathering and chase design information to satisfy requirements
- Learn to process documentation for section agreements including liaison with legal consultants
- Process Robust Detail applications
- Manage incoming drawings and documentation
- Arrange new development postal addresses
- Arrange performance bonds with the Surety providers

- Working towards recognised construction related qualification
- Experience within a similar role is advantageous but not a requirement
