Assistant Quantity Surveyor - (Closing date 02/05/2025)
Overall Objectives:
- Opportunity and support for continuing relevant further education working towards a Degree in Quantity Surveying.
- The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will work along side other quantity surveyors and will report directly to the Commercial Manager.
- Produce costings and budgets
- Assist in the production of quarterly valuations and ‘cost to complete’ exercises
- Subcontract enquiries and comparison
- Produce sub-contract orders
- Complete on-site measurements and assess payments to contractors
- Produce sub-contract payments
- Assist with land appraisals when required
- Attend meetings with senior managers and directors
General Responsibilities:

- Some experience of assisting Quantity Surveyors
- Ideally with or progressing towards a relevant HND, Degree or equivalent
- Valid UK driving licence
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal
- Attention to detail
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Team Player
- Able to manage your time and work to deadlines
- Resourceful
