A significant milestone has been marked in the construction of Eston Precinct, with the completion of the building’s external brickwork and installation of the curtain walling system, bringing the development a step closer to handover.
Esh Construction is delivering Eston Precinct on behalf of Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council, creating a new shopping centre to provide 14,650 square feet of high-quality retail space through seven new units. The new space will not only provide retail services, but enhance the appearance of Eston, making it an inviting place to shop and spend time in.
More than 50,000 bricks have been laid across the scheme, using three complimentary brick types. The main precinct area incorporates Ibstock Townhouse Blend and Ibstock Old Grey English bricks, with the rear service yard featuring Ibstock Tay Buff. Additionally, 21 curtain walling units have been installed, completed with colour-matched finishing panels to ensure the building envelope is fully water protected.
