New plans to develop 120 homes on Easton Road in Bridlington have been submitted to East Riding of Yorkshire Council by Esh Construction & Richard Roberts.
The proposals are for 120 high-quality homes to be delivered on a 4.7-hectare parcel of greenfield land north of Easton Road. The development would comprise 10 one-bedroom, 47 two-bedroom, 48 three-bedroom and 15 four-bedroom properties.
Brought forward using Esh’s land-led approach, in partnership with Richard Roberts Ltd, funding for the scheme will be secured through the Homes England Social and Affordable Homes Programme 2026-2036. The tenure mix has been tailored by local housing need, with a particular focus on smaller, accessible homes and family accommodation.

Located on the western edge of Bridlington, the site is well connected to local amenities, schools and healthcare facilities, supporting sustainable growth within one of the East Riding’s designated Principal Towns. The vast majority of the area where the land is located now forms part of the allocated site BRID-C in the East Riding Local Plan – a strategic housing site identified by the Council to support residential growth in West Bridlington.
The project would also deliver a primary spine road and bus route through the development.
A network of green infrastructure would be integrated across the development, including a central green corridor, pocket green spaces and retained landscaping, designed to enhance biodiversity and create an attractive, accessible environment for residents.
The development has been designed to reflect Bridlington’s local character, with house types informed by the existing vernacular and incorporating energy-efficient features, including the use of air source heat pumps.
Partners supporting the planning application are Brewster Bye Architects, Andrew Moseley Associates, Primas Law, Preston Baker Planning, Richard Roberts Limited, Millea Group and Brooks Landscaping & Ecology.
Esh Construction is currently delivering a zero-gas development at Pinfold Lane in Bridlington, comprising 54 affordable homes alongside a 68-apartment extra care facility with on-site amenities to support independent living.
