Park Gateway, Riverside Gardens

Riverside Park is an ambitious regeneration scheme at the heart of Riverside Sunderland. Appointed by Sunderland City Council, the project will transform 13.7 hectares of parkland and 5.3 hectares of riverfront into vibrant green spaces.

The scheme includes Kingsley Gardens, a community-managed growing space, and Galley’s Gill, which will feature ponds, play areas, and a skate park. Riverside Park will reconnect the city with the River Wear, offering spaces for leisure, biodiversity, and community wellbeing.
