As Trainee Business Development Coordinator, Olivia Miller plays a key role in building relationships across the business and with external partners.
She is responsible for supporting business development activities, helping to identify new opportunities, and ensuring the smooth running of initiatives that drive Esh’s growth. Alongside her role, she is completing a Business Management Degree Apprenticeship.
Olivia’s commitment to sustainability is evident in her work as Esh’s youngest Carbon Champion, and she was recently Highly Commended in CECA Yorkshire & the Humber’s Most Promising Apprentice Awards 2025. Read more about why Olivia is excited to keep growing with the business.
When I joined Esh, I had no construction experience, so stepping into the industry was a leap into the unknown. I started as an apprentice in the sustainability team, completing my Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Business & Administration qualification and helping launch our Even Greener strategy in 2023.
That experience showed me how small changes can have a big impact and sparked my passion for sustainability.
What I enjoy most is working with people from all parts of the business and industry. Facing new scenarios and challenges every day means I’m constantly learning and building a strong network as I shape my career with Esh.
Being named Apprentice of the Year at the inaugural Esh Factor Awards was a real honour, and I’m proud to be Esh’s youngest Carbon Champion. Receiving a Highly Commended for CECA Yorkshire & Humber’s Most Promising Apprentice Award was the icing on the cake.
