From service to success: we value Armed Forces talent

We recognise that members of the Armed Forces bring far more than technical expertise – they offer exceptional leadership, discipline, problem-solving and teamwork, honed through years of service in demanding environments.

We offer a welcoming, supportive environment through flexible working options, tailored career pathways and work placement opportunities. Whether you’re transitioning to civvy street or serving as a Reservist, we’re here to help you thrive.

Having held a Gold Covenant in the Armed Forces Employer Recognition Scheme since 2021, we stand firmly behind our commitment to those who serve - and to helping them build rewarding careers with us.

A word from our HR Director

“As a Gold Covenant holder, Esh is committed to setting an example for our industry, not only in supporting ex-services personnel but to help our industry gain vital skills that the Armed Forces community can bring.

"There is a skills shortage in construction, so we work with the Careers Transition Partnership (CTP) to match service leavers with roles that suit their experience and interests. For colleagues serving as Reservists, we provide flexible support to help balance military and work commitments.”
