HPJ Operative

About the role:

We are looking for an HPJ Operative to join our team, carrying out the cleansing and unblocking of wastewater sewers using high-pressure jetting equipment. Working as part of a team, you will help maintain essential wastewater infrastructure while adhering to strict health, safety, and environmental standards. The role includes working in confined spaces and following best practice procedures to deliver a safe, efficient, and high-quality service.

What we will expect from you:

• All aspects of drainage including but not limited to: 

- High Pressure Water Jetting utilising vactor 
- Working in confined spaces
- Work as part of a team

• Thorough completion of site/works information on a tablet device
• Carry out work in line with company health and safety policy and procedures
• Good time management and working efficiently
• Completing Drivers Hours Books and Vehicle Checks (Defect books)
• General maintenance and upkeep of vehicles and equipment
• Willingness to learn and undertake all training and development as required
• Flexible in approach to working hours/ shifts

Qualifications:

• Water Jetting qualification
• Class 2 license
• Experience of correct jetting protocols to ensure all risks are minimised/mitigated
• Knowledge of GIS
• Experience of patching/lining activities is desirable
