About the role:

We are recruiting a reliable and skilled Groundworker to carry out general construction duties across our civil engineering sites. You’ll play a key role in delivering work that meets client expectations, while ensuring Health and Safety standards are upheld at all times.

What we will expect from you:

  • Preparing site compounds
  • Installing haul roads
  • Installation of drains and sewers
  • Install and maintain over-pumping systems
  • Concreting foundations
  • Excavation for structures including piling works
  • Laying ducts
  • Laying kerbs
  • Flags and block paving
  • Ensure timesheets are submitted accurately and on time
  • Adhere to company absence reporting procedure
  • Work independently as well as part of a team

Qualifications:

  • A valid UK driving licence – essential
  • CSCS Card – essential
  • CPCS Card - preferred
  • Confined space training – preferred
  • Street works qualifications - preferred
