About the role:
We are recruiting a Technical Assistant to support the Design Manager by coordinating technical information, attending meetings, and managing actions. Responsibilities include preparing O&M and customer handover documents, assisting with planning applications and condition discharge, and ensuring accuracy while working to tight deadlines.

What we will expect from you:
Prepare Technical Drawings and collate all supporting information
- Prepare and co-ordinate all technical drawings and supporting information upload and circulated to relevant parties via ViewPoint and hard copies, when necessary, in line with agreed pre-commencement programmes, utilising external consultants where appropriate
- Undertake detailed assessment, co-ordination and approval of all supporting suppliers and manufacturer’s information
- Ensure structural assessment of all technical drawings is undertaken by an approved consultant
- Create, comment and revise house type drawings, site & legal plans to ensure compliance with technical constraints and issue information to all internal and external teams
- Develop a close relationship with the land team to bring forward new sites and interpret technical information to form a site brief
Secure Building Regulations/Statutory approvals
- Prepare, submit and secure Building Regulations and Statutory Approvals for developments
- Ensure the timely clearance of Building Regulation and statutory conditions to deliver CML’s in line with build programme/budget
- Provide technical support for all other departments e.g. Land, Planning, Engineering, Design, Commercial, Production, Sales, Customer Service and Legal
- Provide resolution of site and other queries in close conjunction with other team members to ensure compliance with the building regulations approved documents
General
- Support the Design Manager to ensure all relevant technical information is available
- Prepare for, attend, and participate in all necessary internal and external meetings to represent the technical team / wider business, taking notes and actioning tasks
- Produce information for O&M manuals and customer plans for plot completions
- Accuracy of issue and working to tight deadlines and programmes is essential
- Help to collate, prepare and submit various planning application types and discharge relevant conditions in a timely manner

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year experience in a fast paced developer is desirable
- A HND/Degree in an Architectural/Technical background is desirable
Attributes & Skills:
- Must have a passionate, resilient and enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to adapt workload
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail at all times
- Must have administration and document management experience
- A thorough understanding and previous exposure of building regulations and planning process
- Technical project management skills desirable
- Demonstrate continuing development and understanding of emerging requirements
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
