A £2.1m whole-house retrofit programme which improved 81 homes across Darlington and the Tees Valley. Combining loft insulation, internal and external wall insulation, low-carbon heating and solar PV, the scheme is helping residents reduce energy costs, tackle fuel poverty and create warmer, more energy-efficient homes.

Esh Retrofit Solutions delivered a £1.7 million whole-house retrofit programme for Thirteen Group, improving the energy efficiency of 60 homes in Stockton-on-Tees. Through PAS 2035-compliant upgrades, the scheme reduced energy demand, supported EPC Band C targets, tackled fuel poverty and created lasting economic and social value locally.

A £2m retrofit programme that has improved the energy efficiency of 140 homes across County Durham. The whole-house project utilised a fabric-first approach, the scheme combines insulation, low-carbon heating, renewable energy technologies and ventilation improvements to reduce energy demand, tackle fuel poverty and create warmer, more energy-efficient homes.

Esh Construction has secured a £2.5 million contract with Gateshead Council to deliver energy efficiency improvements to 82 homes across the borough. The programme includes the installation solar PV panels and ventilation measures to 70 bungalows, alongside insulated flat roof upgrades to 12 flats. The scheme is being delivered through the Warm Homes: Social Housing Fund Wave 3 programme.
