Constructing Careers

Working in partnership with Learning Curve Group, one of the UK’s largest training providers, we provide a structured 5-day training course which includes 2 fully accredited qualifications, employer led workshops, a CSCS card test and an interview with our recruitment agency Core People.

Constructing Careers is delivered through classroom-based training or online over 5-days with participants completing Level 1 Certificate in Occupational Studies and Level 1 Health & Safety within a Construction Environment.

During the programme we host ‘employer drop-ins’ to discuss specific roles and employer needs and help contextualise participant’s learning. Those who complete the course are booked onto a CSCS card test at a local testing centre.

Every participant who passes the CSCS card test is guaranteed an interview with our recruitment agency Core People and, subject to a successful interview, signed onto their books for the purpose of identifying opportunities within the construction industry.

Apprenticeships

We are passionate about our workforce of the future, many of our apprentices have gone on to have long, successful careers – in fact, some of our senior directors started their careers as apprentices!

Our industry-recognised apprenticeships are a great opportunity to build a career from the ground up. They are tailored specifically for those who want to start a career as trade professionals or within business support functions.

  • Our apprentices experience a wide variety of projects and get a full understanding of our business and their specialism.
  • We provide hands-on, site-based experience; our apprentices are mentored and supported by time served professionals.
  • Our apprentices complete a nationally recognised qualification alongside their work, with 95% moving onto full time careers in the construction industry.

We typically recruit twice a year with a January or September start.
