Remedials Groundworker - (Closing Date - 31/10/2024)

Overall Objective:

Carry out general construction work, ensuring it meets the client’s expectations, and Health and Safety is adhered.
Working on projects to allow site to be adopted by council.

Key Accountabilities:

Carry out various tasks as directed by the Site Manager, including:

  • Tarmac patching works and stretches of paths and roads
    • Removing kerbs and pin kerbs
    • Lifting water tobies and BT boxes
    • Concreting 
    • Repair and maintenance of sewer systems
    • Installation of ironwork
    • Laying kerbs
    • Flags and block paving
    • Checking BT boxes for completion

  • Ensure timesheets are submitted accurately and on time
  • Adhere to company absence reporting procedure
  • Work independently as well as part of a team
