Timeline describing the history of the Esh Group

• In 1971 Lumsden & Carroll was formed
• In 1976 Deerness Fencing was formed
• In 1993 Lumsden and Carroll and Deerness Fencing formed the Esh Partnership
• In 1995 Dunelm Castle Homes was formed. In 2006 it was re-branded to Dunelm Homes and moved to Esh Business Park at Newton Aycliffe. Also in 1995 David Wilkinson Building Contractors Ltd was formed
• In 1999 Esh Partnership formalised into the Esh Group, and Sones Landscaping joined the Group
• In 2000 NECT was formed
• In 2002 Mechplant NorthEast and Dunelm Property Services were formed
• In 2003 the Esh Group moved to Bowburn HQ, and Bardon Esh and Bartram Walker were formed
• In 2004 Esh Developments was formed
• In 2005 Dunelm Acorn Homes formed. In 2006 it was re-branded to Acorn Homes
• In 2006 Charitable Trust formed, Dunelm Lifestyle Homes formed and Stephen Easten Building formed
• In 2007 Esh Education was formed, Esh Communities were formed, Dunelm Facilities Services were formed, and Esh Space was formed.
