City & Guilds Streetworks Excavation & Reinstatement (NRASWA) – £590 +vat

This scheme is for those who are already employed in this field, and covers a range of skills needed both by people who carry out excavation work and by those who supervise and monitor the work. Completion of each certificate enables the holder to acquire the Streetworks Registration Card which enables learners to work legally on the highways.

City & Guilds Streetworks Excavation & Reinstatement Refresher (NRASWA)
 – £260 +vat

As of April 2011, anyone carrying out work on the highways, under the provisions of the New Roads and Streetworks Act 1991, is required to be reassessed every 5 years for professional competence.  The Reassessed Streetworks Excavation and Reinstatement qualifications enable the candidate to achieve verification of professional competence. Completing the qualification also enables re-registration with the Street Works Qualification Register (SWQR) which permits the candidate to work legally on the highways.
