First businesses move into Esh Group's £750k incubator space

Plastics manufacturing supplier Sunwell UK Ltd and commercial law specialists Fielden Marshall Glover Strutt have chosen Esh Space as their new home.

The £750,000 investment on Bowburn North Industrial Estate was recently completed by Esh Group as part of wider expansion works on the site, which is already home to the firm’s headquarters and its new training academy.

Esh Space is part of the Group’s commitment to support the communities it works in, and is specially designed to house start-up and small businesses in need of flexible workspace.

Esh Group development manager Wes English explained: “We built Esh Space in response to need for high quality workspace for small businesses in the region, with excellent access to key road and rail links.

“The rental agreements can be tailored to fit the needs of small businesses.

“It’s these types of businesses that make up Esh Group’s vital supply chain and with our guiding principle to support the communities we work in, we’re very keen to support small businesses like Sunwell UK and Fielden Marshall Glover Strutt.”

The self-contained office space, which is situated less than five minutes’ drive from the A1, covers 4,752 sq ft and could accommodate up to six businesses.

Esh Group also offers neighbouring businesses the chance to use its meeting rooms and hire space in the newly built training academy building.

Nick King, managing director of Sunwell UK Ltd, said: “Sunwell UK supplies customers all over the world from the North East, so we needed an office space that provided connectivity, and Esh Space does just that.”

Our business is established but we needed a flexible, high quality space to expand into. Being at Esh Space means we'll be very well located for our UK customer base. Having Esh Group and its broad range of activity on the doorstep will also present opportunities.
