Esh Construction deliver their promise to create sustainable communities investing in local communities and the environment with a new Bug Hotel.

20th April 2017

Pupils from Hoyland Common Primary and Tankersley St Peter’s joined up with construction company Esh Group to build a bug hotel. The company also helped students learn about careers in science and engineering.

A bug hotel provides hideyholes for creatures galore. The hideaways help shelter anything from hedgehogs to toads, solitary bees to bumblebees, and ladybirds to woodlice.

The company is undertaking a range of projects across Barnsley including extensive works at the Birdwell M1 junction.

Esh Construction is passionate about inspiring young people into careers in construction. Building bug hotels and structured learning around science is a great way to engage young minds, and have some fun.
