Esh Group supports ‘The Seaham Project’, a horticultural training centre which supports clients with learning disabilities, as well as local schools and unemployed people in the community. The project aim is to deliver effective training including horticulture, basic numeracy and literacy, retail, customer service, independent living skills, travel training, money management and Information Technology.

Esh Group is helping to support The Seaham Project by providing members with opportunities in the wider community. Members of the Project are gaining a lot of social skills as well as the opportunity to meet new people and broaden their horizons. We are able to provide support through a number of outlets including adding them to the Group’s ‘preferred supplier list’, as well as purchasing flowers, potted plants and specimen trees for Group events, and providing work experience and shadowing opportunities through Esh Training Solutions.
