Education Enrichment

Everyone has their own interpretation of practical work experience. We believe early meaningful engagement between businesses, schools and their students is an essential part of preparing the workforce of the future.

Now working in partnership with one our major clients, Northumbrian Water, Esh Group has the platform to deliver timetabled weekly business lessons to all Year 7 students at Castle View Enterprise Academy.

This scheme invites the experts to deliver practical classes on business fundamentals, specialist topics and personal development exercises providing the students with first hand insight into a range of occupational areas and backgrounds.

With teacher support, businesses have the opportunity to educate the workforce of the future focusing on the relevance of a student’s curriculum to a future job role. These lessons are not designed teach – lessons act as a catalyst, helping raise student’s aspirations and give focus to the curriculums core subjects. Sessions are designed to:

  • inspire young people early in the education process
  • embed work ethic
  • raise awareness of opportunities
  • raise aspirations of young people
  • address employability problems at an early age

Through this scheme businesses are able to seize the opportunity to work with their local community, removing barriers between academic and professional environments. We believe business and enterprise should be a part of every student’s curriculum.
